Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by Spyglass
My chart is ordered from best to worst. These albums I have chosen are albums that go above and beyond the boundaries of music, and have brilliance to share in whatever forms they take. All of the albums I've chosen are very special to me in one way or another, even if they're outside of my comfort zone, because a comfort zone doesn't matter when you're trying to comprehend all forms of music.
I've added little stories that describe my feelings when listening to each album. They're quite odd, but I love a little odd now and then.

"I went out for a drive to the bar, and a song about a stairway to heaven played on the radio in my truck. When the song was over, I turned the radio off to let the song soak in my mind. The scenery I had experienced when hearing the song lingered in my mind until I opened the bar doors, reminded of the western saloon entrance. I saw Music himself drinking a gin and tonic. He wasn't the Devil, contrary to most people's assumption, but that dazzling grin on his face carried a vanity unmatched. Despite the shudder down my spine, I sat down next to him and bought a drink. As soon as I sat down, I heard that same strange song from the radio playing in the bar. I asked Music, 'How did you write something so incredible?' He showed me that infamous grin of his and simply replied. 'God makes better music than the devil.'" [First added to this chart: 04/03/2020]

"Innovation. Organization. Demonstration. Exaggeration. Surrealism. Forget about the whole 'sugar, spice and everything nice' combo that all women strive for. That comes to me naturally, but that is not what defines me. You can call me a woman, but you can never lump me in with the rest of the women on the planet." [First added to this chart: 04/04/2020]

"So, were you guys always this drugged up? Because I jumped as high in the sky as I could, and couldn't find a woman named Lucy. Though I think I have an idea of what's going on in your tiny little minds, because I did see a lot of things that nearly killed me. It's a shame I cleaned myself up, because I'd like to meet them again for a cup of tea. But if you want to brave the journey to a knock-off of Heaven to see these odd sites again, tell me about it." "Progressive rock? Don't call me that anymore. I literally invented the term back when my first album came out. You were supposed to be your own man, but instead you studied me like a stalker forcing his own pen into my book. How dare you call yourself progressive! It only took you five years to make me feel unoriginal. But I will continue to reinvent myself. And I will play the music you don't understand. It is the music you think you know since you like to copy me, but is really the music you fear to play or even tolerate: music from the heart." [First added to this chart: 04/03/2020]

"I was running down a hallway when something invisible hit my head. The strange thing is that sometimes when you are knocked out, your consciousness is not trapped in some strange and monstrous creation. Instead, your consciousness becomes its own entity and travels to another world. And when I was knocked out, I flew to the moon for no reason other than to say I did. Since I was a ghost, the lack of gravity did not affect me. But I learned a little trick from the man on the moon, who looks a bit like Chuck Berry. He told me one of the many secrets to life, and with that, I achieved something amazing. While the moon is 6,783 miles across, I walked the whole thing in ten minutes. I didn't run; I walked. When I completed a circle, my ghost was drawn back to my waking body like the speed of light. And ever since then, I haven't seen the world the same way." [First added to this chart: 04/05/2020]

"You probably won't recognize me by my face, but that low howl in my deep voice will help you recall the nightmares of your childhood, and realize that I built them and the strings attached to them, all from the secrets you found that your friends and family held. I'm returning from the grave to haunt you, and it shall be in a manner far worse than my haunting sprees when I was alive. Back then, when I haunted you, I made you want to live. Now, I'll do something different. I won't make you desire death, but I'll screw your mind up to the point you'll want to dig your way into my sombre coffin and cuddle my corpse out of pity. For my howling is mournful like a choir and euphoric like the wolf's cry." [First added to this chart: 04/04/2020]

"I have succeeded in finally creating an android with the emotional and psychological perception of a human, and yet, I'm not so excited as I thought I would be. Maybe it's because I knew this was going to happen. Seeing my android interact with other people is no longer like witnessing my creation redife the world, but more like watching my son delivery lifelong memories to me." "I try not to scream. Screaming is the same as succumbing to your pain, and acts as a predecessor to suicide. To slowly let out your pains through mellow whispers will suffice. It's not yoga, or something as spiritual. It's a simple process anyone can partake in: calm your nerves while fixating on your pain. Don't ignore them, just give them a slow push." "I think there's a real virtue in being cute. Letting all those cuddly thoughts out through a hookah pipe gives the odd little these-and-those that make you who you are a kind of charm anyone can get behind. I guess I shouldn't encourage your kids to do this, but they don't need to know about the hookah just yet. The bottom line is, you still want to teach your children what love is, right?"
