"Oh My God nearly started a brawl at a basketball game. I had been listening to Midnight Marauders on the way to the game. Oh My God got stuck in my head. During the game, I stole the ball from an opponent, who yelled 'oh my god'. We went down the court and scored, and I was singing Oh My God to m..."  [+]  Reply

"Oh Marty Friedman... why did you have to leave the world of metal? Tornado of Souls has one of my favorite guitar solos ever. This is technically speaking, Megadeth's best album. Holy Wars and Hanger 18 are immortal tracks."  Reply

"I remember when Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds toured this album. Theyopened with Into My Arms and Cave had a terrible time with the first line "I don' t believe in an interventionist god" it took him 4 or 5 gos to get through it and ages to complete the song. Had seen him live a number of times but..."  [+]  Reply

"This album was nearly as mind bending for me as Kid A the first time I heard it. I had never heard anything like it before. The perfect mix of excellent straightforward songs and brash experiments still resonates with me in a big way."  Reply

"Some years ago a friend and I spent several summers climbing all seventeen county highpoints in Nevada. To reach all these, we had to do a lot of driving on bumpy dirt roads through the desert. Fortunately for us, we had two artists we both liked listening to: Neil Young and Built to Spill. Ridin..."  [+]  Reply

And the varied stylistic range of the tracks is super impressive. "How To Fight Loneliness" still gets me every tim..."  [+]  Reply

"Sometimes tension in the studio can remarkably create classic albums , The Beatles 'White Album' and Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours' are cases in point. You can also add Sued's 'Dog Man Star' to that list Rehearsals for 'Dog Man Star' were very tense and would split the band into two separate camps. Be..."  [+]  Reply
