Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Interesting chart that I enjoyed checking out. Somewhat surprised to see no albums listed from after 2006, but I can appreciate the uniqueness of your musical journey.

This is it, this is the stuff right here! Tons of my favorites and very sweet obscure picks. RIP Daniel Johnston. 1990 is probably my favorite by him, too.

Love the variety. Grabbed a random album to listen to. #43 - Suicide by Suicide. Never heard it before, but judging from some of your other faves, I’m guessing it’s going to be really good!

Really love this chart - such a great mix of experimental rock, folk, and contemporary classical. Some notes would push this up to a perfect score for me.

Off course I know the great Nick Drake, I like all of his three albums, but I can't say I truely love him. Your besteveralbum probably is my favourite by him (:
