A perfect album in every sense of the word. The Beatles' swan song ended up being their most solid from start to finish. The greatest rock band of all time created my favorite album of all time. [First added to this chart: 04/06/2015]

The Beatles' second best album in my mind, was the first that they decided they were no longer just some boy band, but a group of young adults ready to make a difference. Many would put the more experimental Revolver above this album, but I feel as an album, Rubber Soul is more solid overall. [First added to this chart: 04/06/2015]

I may be in the minority here, but I feel Led Zeppelin's first studio album is it's best. There is not a single dud track on this album. From the fantastic Good Times Bad Times, Zep's first single which holds to what John Paul Jones still considers to be his most difficult riff to date, to the beautiful Babe, I Am Gonna Leave You and ending with the seductive How Many More Times. Outstanding first record. And yes, better than the coveted 4th record. [First added to this chart: 04/06/2015]

Here is a album I hope everyone can agree with it's placement. Jimi Hendrix was a fucking genius. While Stevie Ray Vaughn had more technical skill, Hendrix made up for with shear innovation and musical voice. This fact is no more prevalent than on his first studio album Are You Experienced? While my personal favorite Hendrix song is probably Little Wing off of the amazing Axis: Bold As Love, Experience is an overall more solid, and influential record. Every song on this record just radiates influence to ever guitarist and musician out there. Oh yeah, also has a little song called Purple Haze. [First added to this chart: 04/06/2015]

The inspiration for one of the most important albums of all time. This album is a masterpiece. It is still as impressive and awe-inspiring to listen to the insane instrumentation and orchestral sound of this album in 2016 as it was in 1966. Like many albums on this list, the album has a clear tone and sound that it holds throughout the album. While the album does not vary in sound or style much, consistency is certainly something to be praised. [First added to this chart: 11/15/2016]

bad logic: "AM's Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not is the best album of the 00's, period." yet you have a couple 00's albums ranked higher....
