84.16 Love the melodies and harmonies. It's good light-hearted rock. Solid right through. One of the better albums of this genre. Very catchy and enjoyable.

79.61 This has some of the best songs they've made on it. One of their best albums (alongside 'Intimacy'. I know many would disagree with that). Top tracks...outstanding. Couple of fillers. Overall a decent album.

79.00 This is one of those albums I got for a bit of variety outside the regular genres I listen to. Very glad I got it. Just gets better with every listen and is great from start to finish.

78.33 They took a different sounding approach on this from the albums that came before it. Much more of a serene rock flow to it. Almost a cinematic feel on some songs. Sometimes a stylistic change can do a band harm but this is great. I like it. I like it a lot. 07/24

Elbow are a band I'm very happy that I discovered many moons back as I've discovered they are very consistent at putting out great albums. I like everything I've heard. With music you've got your bands that are just surface level. You can hear them and think "this is alright' but they leave no real impression. With Elbow, for me, they permeate and get deep within. Not in any idiot spiritual sense but like how a blazing fireplace warms you to the bone compared to a heat pump which gets no deeper than the skin. I really like Elbow 01/25

75.83* Think of how when listening to some Pink Floyd you can think 'this is the sound of space cadet stuff man'. This is the feeling you can get with this. Had some shades of Floyd crossed with Blur within. Drifts along nicely 02/25

I like Justin Hawkins YouTube channel. He's a very musically knowledgeable man. After watching quite a bit I re-visited this. It had previously taken a few listens to grow on me. Saw it through new ears. Good basic hard rock sound (without actually being musically basic). Some good catchy rhythms and riffs
