Awesome chart that I somehow am only now seeing. You and I have the most in common on this whole site apparently (okay there is one other with one more in common but it hasn't been updated in 6 years... so you are the main similarity on this site as of now.) 20 albums in common. Mama's Gun is a cool inclusion.

“NJ” has the description nailed, and not in a good way. There is little noteworthy about this chart, even the more recent albums on it are familiar to readers of the site, and having read Harrington, Keenan, Scaruffi and other critics over the past two decades it is difficult to accept the “canon” at face value.
On the positive side, the list is not burdened with too many familiar albums whose canonical status I question from experience and reading the most knowledgeable of critics. Fleet Foxes are about the worst case of that, but mere avoidance is hardly the best way to make an interesting chart.

Pretty similar to the canon and very male-oriented, but a solid start. I'm looking forward to seeing you expand your chart over time.
