This album is pretty much the main reason why I'm feeling motivated to update this chart for the first time in ~4 years. I think that's for a lot of different reasons, but mainly I just felt like it was wrong to have this chart out in the world without this album on there at all. So here it is. Pretty much the best pop punk imaginable.
Favorite: Passing Through A Screen Door

Hop Along is so good and I have so much trouble deciding which of theirs is my favorite. Clearly I've now decided Freshman Year is my favorite, but this is up there too. Again, I'd recommend their newest stuff first if you haven't heard them before. And then slowly work your way back. Or just don't listen to them and go about your day. Most people do that.

To Pimp A Butterfly might very well be Kendrick's true masterpiece, but I can't ignore how flawless this album is. Every single track is a banger. I don't really know what else to say about it. Personal and engaging.

I listened to this first about a year before the remake was announced, so the original version holds a more special place in my mind. If I had neglected it, I might like the redone version better, because it's certainly very well done, but the personality on this one is always preferable to me.

What a breath of fresh air. 2016 was a fantastic year for music, probably the best year of the decade, but for a while there I was worried there wasn't going to be a unique and interesting indie rock release; luckily Pinegrove came along.

Apparently I really like Phil Elverum. So, obviously, when it comes to an album explaining in depth his coping process to his wife's death, I'm very intrigued. I sort of understand why some people can't listen to this more than once or twice, but it's just such a unique album that I highly recommend listening to it many more times than that.

I completely neglected the genre of hip-hop until I stumbled upon all of the unavoidable critical acclaim this album earned in 2015. I was baffled at how quickly every single track grew on me in this album, especially since I never really listened to anything similar to it before. Overall, this album significantly shaped my musical taste into what it is today, and it helped me become a much more open-minded person in terms of what I listen to (and possibly just a more open-minded person in general).

Hey we have the same favorite album! Also a ton of other stuff in common. I think that your disclaimer is extremely disturbing though. Only bigots care about race, sexuality, and gender and make broad generalizations on the basis of such things. I really thought people with good taste in music couldn't possibly be influenced by insane ideologies, but I guess that's not true. This chart makes me happy and disgusted at the same time. I hope you grow out of your racism - cause you clearly aren't just another NPC listening to whatever they put on the radio. Still gotta give you 100 though as that's what this site is supposed to be about - music - not race. Shit ruins everything.
