I don't know if this album represents life in asylums as the effects of psychedelic drugs or what, but I do know that I like the music. Full of attitude, catchy songs and psychedelic flourishes. Like Oasis, if Oasis were electronic!

Humbug? No, just a strange, twisted and deranged new sound for Arctic Monkeys! Every band is allowed to change the old formula once in a while, and so Arctic Monkeys did with an album darker and more psychedelic than previous efforts.

Sign no more just because it's Mumford & Sons. They may not be the most hugely innovative or talented band, but they're not half as bad as people want you to believe. A huge commercial success with reason, some quite alright tunes and a reminder to the masses of the magic that is folk rock.
