Simply my personal favorites not my analysis of the most influential or greatest artistic works. That is why you will see something like The Killers in the top 20 but only one Beatles album. Always tinkering with the chart as I discover new albums or burn out a bit on others so at any given time its only a general idea and not totally accurate.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

One of the most loved chart I've seen here on BEA. I don't give 100 just because I think you use a lot of albums from the same artists. Of course these are your favorites, but I think it's like if you didn't give chance to see other things, but I can wrong too.
But, no matter! The chart still really nice! And what say about 12 artists in commum...

Thanks for the comment. I agree, "Love You" is extremely underrated. Hopefully we can help promoting it with our charts and if not, we have our own little hidden treasure. :)
