The 2000s is definitely my favourite decade in all of music. Not only did I grow up during these times and it helped develop my music interest that would benefit me throughout the coming years, but I feel the most comfortable here, and I constantly keep coming back to this decade to check out what I missed and I always have fun while doing it.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

I appreciate how much fun you've obviously had putting this chart together. Love the inclusion of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and Sound of Silver. I haven't listened to Vespertine yet, so that's one I definitely need to check out.
Mad respect for having Sung Tongs, Microcastle, AND ...Coldplay on your list. Do your thing!
