I was trying not to include a new record by a band that was already on the chart... until I came by The Clash. This album makes Never Mind the Bollocks sound like a poor man's punk rocker. The energy of Strummer plus the backing vocals of Jones fit perfectly. The raw, almost lo-fi sound heard in some tracks defines the overall standard for The Clash.
The US version, released 2 years later, includes some classic Clash tracks, as Clash City Rockers, Complete Control, and White Man in Hammersmith Palais. Still, I think that the earlier version of White Riot is better. [First added to this chart: 02/13/2013]

Muy bueno el chart, me gustaron mucho las descripciones, muy buenas y la mayoría originales. Pero como dijo Defago, no entiendo como no pones musica argentina!!! Con los terribles artistas que tenemos, como el flaco Spinetta y todas sus bandas, Charlie Garcia, Manal, Gustavo Cerati, etc. Es casi imposible que alguno de estos no este en tu top 50 siendo Argento!

It's fun to see your comments on the Sex Pistols. You think they're pricks but you still listen to them. That's punk for you. I really enjoyed reading through your chart keep adding more albums as soon as you can.
