10/10 My favourite album by what I think I can safely call my favourite band. This album feels like a mystical adventure in an ancient land, and never disappoints in variety and awesome spacey, psychedelic, and hard-hitting tracks. Opening with King Gizzard's best song, Crumbling Castle, and then going through a stellar tracklist, where Inner Cell is another clear standout for me. This album is always a fantastic listen and I love hearing it when travelling somewhere and I can look out at the scenery and just enjoy the grooves.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Some hidden gems you can find here. I like King Gizzard too but you like Dalek a lot so i think you have a different taste than other but all albums i can find here are classics with some new stuff good work in my opinion.

Although I am much less a fan of electronica and of humour in music than you seem to be from this list, I nonetheless find this list very good and interesting. There is a wide variety of albums, and quite a few not often seen here, although I lack the time to check out those with which I am wholly unfamiliar.
One recommendation that I would expect you to like and is not well appreciated on this site: ‘Wasn’t Tomorrow Wonderful’ by The Waitresses. This band featured Television drummer Billy Ficca and later session saxophonist Mars Williams.
