To make up for the lack of space, I have limited myself to one album per artist. This way I have managed to assemble a more diverse list. I picked my favourite album by each of my favourite artists and ranked them.
I muchly appreciate feedback and am more than happy to talk about any of these artists - I also really look forward to recommendations!

This is my favourite album of all time. It's a masterpiece. It's perfect. I listened to it for the first time on a cliff near where I used to live, it was incredible. One of the best experiences of my life.

This album is my favourite because I think each of the songs resonate with me. They are all powerful and it's a very powerful album. It reminds me of urbia at night.
This album represents the summer of two years ago, which was a very important summer for me.

I don't know why this album strikes me so powerfully, but for some reason all the imagery in the lyrics points me towards thinking the album is a message from god. I think it goes very well with Kid A by Radiohead, and although it sounds weird I have made a playlist where the two albums are merged: track one of Daisy, track one of Kid A, etc.

Maybe this is a little high on the list, but Corin Tucker's pre- Sleater-Kinney album contains one of my favourite songs of all time, Complicated. For a riot grrrl album, it's the best, and several of the songs helped me when I felt bad. Its chords are well-chosen.
The album artwork sums up the feel of the album very well: floating away on a boat into the colours all around.

Though I haven't listened to this album recently, I know that when I do next I'll cry. It's gorgeous.

Nothing compares to the feeling of being in freefall as Jeff's voice reaches unimaginably powerful high notes and the straightforward, expertly written guitar slashes at your heart in Grace. If you haven't listened to this, you really are missing out.

and you can't chart pablo over i might be wrong. that's just not right. there's also a rarer radiohead album, parachutes, that you might like. the song to hit is called yellow.
