Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 72.0/100, a mean average of 63.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 63.8/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 19.0.

I get your approach on the "my top listened albums in the last 12 months", but maybe try to mix it with "my best albums ever"?
Some great pics!
I think is the first time in history were Avicii is in a "Best Ever Albums Chart". Unique stuff
Upgraded due to the Soul Asylum and Mermaid Ave...
I agree with most comments, your top ten is a 50/50 mix of superb music and total trash.
Your comment up top definitely explains this more. I feel like putting down your most played albums is a bit of a copout, since it's going to lean heavily towards more recent albums and albums you acquired recently. However, aside from a few albums which were popular but I didn't like much (e.g. Babel, Mylo Xyloto), you do listen to some good albums. It's a nice chart but I can't say I like the idea of just putting down the ones you listened to most in 12 months. I feel like most listened to all time might be more fair. Maybe not though.
I was gonna say what everyone else said; Mylo Xyloto as the top Coldplay album is weird. Nice to see Bruce there :P
Some stuff I like, some stuff I don't... At least it's original, not married to Rolling Stone or Pitchfork... Don't change your chart because of the comments of others.
Meh, really weak picks if you ask me... Gaslight Anthem, really? Not the best album, in my opinion, sorry.
big changes in here. this chart is alive!
Some good pics but I was really surprised at Mylo Xyloto was number 1 cause it's Definetly coldplays worst album. Big fan of Coldplay but that last album was truly disappointing
major points lost for Coldplay's worst album by a mile at first
