Holy shake-up. What exactly happened overnight? Laughing

Liking the changes though. Three Kings of Leon albums flying out of the top 1000 is certainly something. Bowie's in the top 10. And Fela finally having a release in the top 1000 is a good start to the decade too.

EDIT: Not that it changed rank, but OK Computer lost 45% of its points. Some stuff really evened out around the board. Liking it.

Wow, this is crazy. I'm on board with a lot of the risers and I'm personally happy with some of the big droppers, including Kings of Leon but also Rage Against the Machine, Sex Pistols, and Legend. Looks like a lot more pop and hip hop is getting its due, and not just from the last decade (Donuts rose a lot). I thought the top 1,000 leavers would be mostly older rock albums it looks like some albums I wouldn't have expected also dropped a lot, like Raekwon and a couple Mos Def albums. I'm all for the spirit of this change though, now I'm actually going to have to update my chart more often...

I had given up on listening to the top 1,000 albums because of all the repeat artists and Kings of Leon, but I might take another stab at it now. The change lowered my unlistened number by about 20 and the remaining albums looks a lot more appealing. Might have to jump back into that canon listening game.

Long Season is such a fantastic record. Definitely have noticed it on more charts lately -- its climbed a lot on mine after starting the year not even on it. Good to see!
